Date:
Saturday, 23 August 2008
Time: 12noon - 3pm (if you
are having a good time and behaving yourself, Rick & Ann will not usher
you out at 3pm)
Location: Rick Tavan's QTH, 12921
Filly, Truckee, CA 530-587-3164
Directions:
From the West, take I80 East past Truckee to the Hirschdale
exit (aka Boca/Stampede Rec Area). At the
bottom of the ramp, turn right on Hirschdale Rd. From
the East, take I80 West to the Hirschdale exit. At
the bottom of the ramp, turn right and go under the freeway, continuing onto
Hirschdale Rd. Follow Hirschdale to the top
of the hill, about a mile, and take the first right on Whitehorse.
At the Damn Gate of The Meadows, enter code
#2327, including the pound sign, very carefully. About
700-800 msec per key stroke seems to work some of the time.
Just after the gate, turn right on Stallion.
Go a mile or two, over three aggressive
speed bumps, and take the first right on Filly. Go
to the end of the road (two blocks) to a cul-de-sac and take the first
driveway on the right.
