Next NCCC Meeting
Guests are always welcome at the NCCC! Please
join us.
Using Ferrites to Suppress RFI To and From Ham Gear
Jim Brown, K9YC
This presentation will focus on the fundamental
mechanisms that couple RF into consumer equipment and from consumer
equipment into ham stations. Ferrite
chokes, properly used, can greatly reduce that current, thus suppressing
the interference.
Dinner:
Pizza & Soft Drinks, $3/slice. RSVP with
K6EU by Sunday, 11 June. PayPal
is great, but you may prefer to pay at the door given the per-slice
arrangement.
(Note that PayPal payments to the NCCC
cannot be credit card funded. Please move funds into your PayPal
account or use the "eCheck" option or set the funding source to be a bank account, rather than
credit card.)
